Abstract

The study was conducted to find out the profile of beneficiaries KVKs of North Eastern region of India. Ten KVKs under different administrative units were selected purposely and 20 beneficiaries from each of selected KVK were selected randomly for the study. The total sample size was 200. It is found that the age of majority of the respondents was in between 31- 55 years with education qualification high school category and had positive attitude towards training. But, mass media exposure of majority of the respondents belonged to seldom mass media exposure category where all the respondents were married. Majority of the respondents had small land holding with less social recognition and belonged to extended family type with 5 and above family member.
