In this paper an attempt has been made to solve the inverse problem of thermoelasticity in a thin circular plate by determining the unknown temperature gradient, temperature distribution and the thermal deflection on the edge of the circular plate. The results are obtained in terms of series of Bessel’s function and illustrated numerically.

This paper is devoted to the study of thermoelastic problem of thick circular disk disturbances with radiation type condition on the plane surfaces of the disk and circular edge is thermally insulated. The initial temperature of a thick disk is maintained at F(r, z). The Laplace and Marchi Fasulo transform techniques have been employed to solve the model consisting of partial differential equations and boundary conditions in the transformed domain. The temperature change and stresses so obtained in the physical domain are computed numerically and presented graphically for aluminum material. The results are obtained in a series form in terms of Bessel’s function.

In this paper, two recurrence relations characterizing a certain class of distribution family are presented. The first one is a recurrence relation between conditional moments of â„Ž(X) given X < y. The second is a relationship between the conditional moments
and where Yk is the kth order statistic from a sample of size n. Finally the concept of conditional variance of â„Ž(Yk) given Yk > t is used to characterize this family. Some results concerning Modified Weibull, Weibull, Rayleigh, exponential, Linear failure rate, 1st type Pearsonian
distributions, Burr, Pareto, Power and uniform distributions are obtained as special cases.

In this paper, we investigate the problem of magnetothermoelastic responses and perturbation of magnetic field vector in a conducting thermoelastic orthotropic cylinder subjected to rapid temperature change due to thermal shocks. The Laplace transform and finite Marchi-
Zgrablich integral transform techniques are used to obtain the analytical expression for Magnetothermodynamic stresses and perturbation response of an axial magnetic field vector in the orthotropic cylinders. Graphical representation of magnetothermostress and perturbation of
magnetic field vector shows focusing effect which is then discussed.
