The digital watermarking of still images based on the concept of multiresolution wavelet fusion is proposed. The proposed method for the digital watermarking is based on the two-dimensional discrete wavelet transform. It decomposes original image in DWT domain in to three hierarchical levels and watermarks it with a logo image. The watermark is added to the DWT image according to a certain threshold. The proposed approach embeds a meaningful data in form of a logo image instead of a pseudo-random number sequence, called as image-fusion watermarking. This approach show that a watermark signal can be embedded in high-pass wavelet coefficients without any impact on the image visual fidelity. The results prove that the proposed scheme has an efficient performance in terms of robustness to a variety of attacks.

In this paper, we have used Jarvis halftone operator to convert continuous tone image into halftone. For further compression of image data KFCG technique is applied on halftone image. Half toning is the technique that converts continuous tone image into halftone image i.e. 8-bit plane image into 1-bit plane, mostly used in printing media. The objective is to prove that red plane in color image, contents most significant information and is less prone to error during the processing of image. Each pixel in color image in BMP file is represented by 24-bits. The red plane consists of the most significant byte, carrying maximum information of the image. The experimental results show the plane-wise average intensity value and measuring parameters like Mean Square Error (MSE) and Structure Similarity Index (SSIM) between individual planes of input and output images. Applications like video-conferencing where data compression and decompression process is to be carried out on real time basis. Finite time is required to achieve compression and decompression of image data. Some of the frames are required to be skipped for real time application. So, if the adequate image information is represented by red planes then green and blue plane of the image can be skipped to achieve time compensation. For experimental results different seven bitmap (.BMP) images are used.

In this paper we present a new prototype which enhances the intelligibility of Dysarthric speech signal of subjects belonging to the category of cerebral palsy. This prototype is designed for Indian English condition. The subject chosen is male in the age group of 30-60years.The speech processing technique is applied to improve the intelligibility by replacement of dysarthric vowel space by best vowel space of the same dysarthric patient so that the voice quality of speaker is retained. The developed algorithm is deployed into the DSP processor TMS320C5416. It is a pc based system. The testing is done on real time with dysarthic subject and intelligibility of about 60 to 70% was achieved.

This paper discusses principles necessary to develop a forecast method based on the parallel-hierarchical (PH) network and an idea of the hyperbolic smoothing of empiric data. Mathematic models for forecasting dynamic image series, as well as software for forecasting moving optical object positions on the example of energy centers of laser beam spot images are developed. The developed method is more efficient and less time consuming for real-time systems in realization of the forecasting operation of energy center positions of laser beam spots.
