Abstract

Scedosporium apiospermum is a filamentous fungus found in soil and stagnant water. It is an emerging pathogen and treatment-resistant opportunistic fungus. Here we describe a brain abscess caused by this emerging pathogen, which was successfully treated by surgery and voriconazole therapy
