Abstract

Image analysis for nutrient analysis or estimation has been proved to be an effective method. The methods of non destructive analysis which was proven to be more cost effective, less time consuming were proposed by many researchers. This paper also proposes the method based on color image analysis which estimates the spectrum of the leaf and used to estimate the nitrogen of grapes. Results obtained shows non linear regression analysis with coefficient R2 of 0.6118 and average error of -4.02 percent. The method has advantage over other methods.
