A field experiment was conducted during 2011 at Breeder Seed Production Unit, Soybean at Research Farm of JNKVV, Jabalpur to determine herbicidal weed management in soybean under Kymore plateau and Satpura hill zones of Madhya Pradesh. The experimental soil was clayey in nature. The treatment consisted of application of different doses of imazamox with adjuvant at different rate, chlorimuron and fenoxapropethyl. The treatment included were T1- Imazamox 75 g, T2- Imazamox 87.5 g, T3- Imazamox 100 g, T4-Imazamox 75 g + Adjuvant, T5- Imazamox 87.5 g + Adjuvant, T6-Imazamox 100 g + Adjuvant, T7- Imazamox 350 ml + Adjuvant, T8- Chlorimuron ethyl 37.5 g ha-1, T9-Fenoxaprop ethyl 750 ml ha-1, T10- Weedy check. The recommended dose of fertilizer was applied uniformly to all plots. The result revealed that among all the treatments the application of Imazamox 100 g ha-1 with adjuvant 1000 ml ha-1 as early post-emergence significantly affected growth and yield attributing characters. The treatment with application of imazamox 100 g were next in order and were comparable to imazamox 85 g + Adjuvent.
