Bioinfo Publications is interested to associate with well qualified people to increase the reach in the scientific research community. There is no bond for accepting the responsibility; you can work as long as you have enough time towards the journal activities.

Editor Responsibilities include:
● Invitation and collections of initial articles from editorial board members
● Together with other editorial board members, solicit a steady stream of articles on a journal issue basis
● Adding peer-reviewers to the peer-review Bioinfo reviewer database
● Assigning peer-reviewers to the respective articles
● Oversee the peer-review process and making sure that reviewers respond within the deadline
● Peer review assists the Bioinfo Publications editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also assist the author in improving the articles
● Reviewing and Promptness of Publication
● Ensure the quality of published material through peer-review, own comments, and editing
● An editor must have superior skills to ask for revision without the reviewers' decision and if needed, should be able to rewrite poorly written manuscripts.
● Bioinfo Publications editor should evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, country or political philosophy of the authors.

Articles ever withdrawn from Bioinfo Publications or Bioinfo Digital Library
However, very occasionally some circumstances arise in which a manuscript is published that must later be retracted or even removed from Bioinfo Journals. Such decisions must never be taken lightly, and can only occur under exceptional circumstances, such as:
• Infringements of professional ethical codes, such as multiple submissions to other journals, bogus claims of authorship, plagiarism, fraudulent use of data.
• Legal limitations upon the publisher, copyright holder or authors
• The identification of wrong, false or inaccurate data that, if acted upon, would pose a serious health risk.

Bioinfo Journals Open Access is a publishing model that provides immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to the full text / PDF of research articles without requiring a subscription to the Bioinfo journal in which these articles are published. In this model, the publication costs are usually covered by the author\'s institution or research funds. These Bioinfo Journals Open Access charges replace subscription charges and allow the publishers to make the published material freely available to all interested online readers. At the same time, authors who publish in Bioinfo Open Access journals retain the copyright of their article.
